Better Choices Equal a Better Life

Our power to choose how we create our lives is one of our most-used yet least-realized powers in the Universe. We exercise that power every moment of every day. From the instant we wake until the instant we fall asleep, we make a choice, a decision about something. We decide what we are going to wear, what we are going to eat, what time we leave for work, and what route we take to get there. We make a choice if we want to check emails first or have a cup of coffee. We choose if we are going to give our best effort or slack off. We choose what to have for dinner, what to watch on TV, and what time we go to bed. We make a million choices a day and never even realize that those choices are creating our lives moment by moment. That is a great power we wield.

As true as that is, it's a power that many of us unknowingly and unintentionally use from autopilot… from habit. At best, we utilize this power based on a very superficial understanding of how powerful we are. We remain "unaware" that every thought and choice molds, shapes and impacts, at varying degrees, every event, every condition and every circumstance we experience in life. This is why so many "perceive" themselves as being "powerless", “hopeless”, or “unworthy” to create desirable change. It’s why so many people view themselves and others as victims of circumstance, rather than powerful creators. You are a powerful creator… as powerful as your perception allows.

Everything we do in life is a choice, most of us grasp that meaning on the surface, but what most people don’t seem to realize is that everything we don’t do in life is also choice. Every time you choose to not choose, an outcome is still set in motion. You still create the outcome by your choice to not choose. Every day we choose to do some things and to not do other things.
Sometimes choosing not to do something is the wisest choice. However, there is a difference between choosing not to do something out awareness, and making a choice from a place of fear, or other negative emotion, where we often choose to do nothing at all. Choices made from a place of fear are seldom the right choices.

The answer is very simple to say… make better choices and you will have a better life. Yet keeping awareness and exercising the power of choice to our best benefit is not always easily done. That comes from those sneaky limiting beliefs, habits, and perceptions. You have the power to overcome them.

Again, to change your life you need two things… a single thought and a single action (choice).

As I said earlier, we tend to make our choices based on out limiting beliefs, our habits, and our perspective. Up until now if you are not happy with your life, it is due to the choice that you either made or didn’t make. On conscious level, we know it is true because we always ask “what if?” We recognize that we might have had the opportunity to made different choices. We recognize that and we begin to hopelessly wonder how things “might have been”. That line of thinking serves no purpose. It is just negative self-talk. Negative self-talk is a choice we make that creates limiting beliefs.

You must make a conscious choice to make a deliberate change to receive a desired outcome.

Take back your power by making the choices that best suit how you want to live... it really is that simple.

Happy Aligning!!!
